How billing works at Panda Video
At Panda Video, we care about the transparency of charges, as many customers already have a history of abuse on other platforms.
Billing occurs monthly, it is a subscription without any loyalty. You have the freedom to upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time, according to your needs. Furthermore, the possibility of canceling the plan at any time is also available. This means you're not stuck with a plan that no longer meets your needs.
We currently have 3 plans, you can access our site and choose the one that best suits your budget and needs.
When registering with Panda Video, you will have a period of 30 days of free access to the platform. This period serves as a testing period, allowing you to upload videos and explore the features of our player. After this period, the charge will be automatic on the credit card registered in the account, but no charges will be made within the 30 free days and you can cancel at any time.
Making it clear that during the trial period, we limit the amount of bandwidth so that no abuse is made. Unfortunately, we've had issues with sales pages with a lot of bandwidth that took advantage of the trial period. Therefore, we decided to fairly limit the amount of bandwidth available during this period. During the trial period you will have 10GB of available bandwidth.
We'll send you an email alert when you're approaching or have exceeded your plan limit. Please note that when you exceed the limit, post-paid bandwidth will be charged at 30 cents per GB used. If you upgrade your plan or purchase additional bandwidth, you will not consume this bandwidth afterwards.
In order to provide greater control and savings to our users, we offer the option of purchasing additional bandwidth. For this modality, a prepaid approach is adopted, with a value of R$15 cents per GB. Contracts are made in blocks of 512GB and can be added or removed at any time, depending on the user's needs.
It is important to highlight that all charges, including plans and additional bandwidth, follow the same monthly pattern. The debit takes place on the same date and time as the signature registration, ensuring a clear and uniform process.
All details about your bill, your consumption, your current plan and other information are available in an accessible way on the Panda Vídeo dashboard, in the "Settings - Plan - Payment Details" section.
We always maintain the same date on invoices and for this reason there must be a correction when your plan changes, as any change will go instantly to your account. Thus, a proportional calculation is made, based on the remaining days of the current invoice period plus the value for the next month.
Let’s use the following invoice as an example:
In this case, a new invoice is created every month. The additional bandwidth is being added before the invoice date, but it will only be charged on the invoice date.
For this reason, a proportional calculation is made for the current cycle, and the charge for the next cycle is also included (since the plan is prepaid). Every time a change is made to the plan, this adjustment is applied only on the next invoice. If no further changes are made to the plan, subsequent invoices will reflect the standard amount of the plan total plus any add-ons.
The order summary will always show in full according to your invoice cycles, you will be able to understand by analyzing, and if necessary, comparing with the example we mentioned!
