How billing works at Panda Video

A Panda Video opera sob assinatura mensal, sem fidelidade.

Você pode fazer upgrade, downgrade ou cancelar o seu plano sem se preocupar com contratos longos ou multas.

Free Trial Period

When you create an account on Panda Video, you’ll get 14 days of free access to upload and test all the features of our player.

During the free trial, your bandwidth usage will be limited to 100 GB. This limit will no longer apply once your subscription is activated.

At the end of the trial period, billing will automatically begin on the registered credit card.

No worries — no charges will be made during the 14-day period, and you can cancel anytime within that period.

What happens if I exceed my plan’s bandwidth limit?

Each plan includes a monthly bandwidth usage limit.

As you approach that limit, we’ll send you an email notification.

This is important because once you exceed the limit, postpaid bandwidth will be charged at $0.05 per GB used.

To avoid this overage, you can:

  • Upgrade to a higher plan (with more bandwidth included)
  • Purchase prepaid bandwidth

Prepaid bandwidth costs $0.03 per GB and provides predictable costs. It can be purchased in 512 GB blocks based on your needs.

How to purchase prepaid bandwidth:

  1. Go to your dashboard at https://dashboard.pandavideo.com
  2. Click the monthly bandwidth usage meter (bottom left of the screen)
  3. Under Monthly Bandwidth, click Add
  4. Add the amount of additional bandwidth you need

All charges — including plans and additional bandwidth — are billed on the same date and time as your subscription registration, ensuring a clear and consistent billing process. You can view full details about your invoice, usage, current plan, and more in your Panda Video dashboard under Settings > Plan > Payment Details.

Understanding prepaid billing in practice

For accounts older than 2 months, if you upgrade your plan or purchase add-ons, your billing date remains the same.

In these cases, a prorated amount is calculated based on the remaining days in your current billing cycle plus the amount for the next month.

Therefore, a prorated calculation is made for the current cycle, and charges for the upcoming cycle are included as well (since the plan is prepaid). Any time a change is made to your plan, this adjustment appears on the next invoice. If no other changes are made, future invoices will reflect your standard plan total plus any add-ons.

Prepaid billing for accounts less than 2 months old

For accounts younger than 2 months, any plan upgrade or add-on is charged immediately.

This means that if you purchase extra bandwidth or storage, you’ll be billed right away.

We’ve prepared a table to explain the differences clearly.

Billing differences for new accounts (under 2 months) vs. mature accounts

Situation

New Accounts (under 2 months)

Mature Accounts (over 2 months)

Plan upgrade

Immediate charge for prorated new plan + add-ons. Billing date changes to the upgrade date.

Prorated charge appears on the next invoice. Billing date stays the same.

Purchase of extra bandwidth/storage

Immediate full block charge ($/GB) at the time of purchase.

Block value is included in the next invoice.

Example

Invoice due on the 1st. If an upgrade is made on the 10th, you’ll be charged immediately for the add-ons and prorated plan; future billing will be on the 10th.

Invoice due on the 1st. If an upgrade is made on the 10th, the extra charges appear on the next month’s invoice; due date stays the 1st.

That’s it! Now you understand Panda Video’s billing model and can focus on what really matters: your videos.
