How to change the mute indicator?

Hello how are you? In this article I will explain how to customize your mute indicator. With the requests of several users, we decided to launch the possibility of choosing which image - gif, png or jpg - to compose the experience of your viewers. Right, now let's go to the tutorial on how to make these settings.

Where can I configure?

You can find the new feature in the customization part of your individual video, next to the 'Smart Autoplay' section. Accessing this tab, you will notice two tabs: 'Standard' and 'Custom'.

In the 'Standard' tab, you will find the settings for the mute indicator as you had already shown: being able to define upper or lower text; adjust indicator with animation; color and size adjustments.

In the new tab, 'Custom', you will first have the possibility to import a GIF, PNG or JPG image to serve as a mute indicator.

Upload image to library

Once an item is loaded, you will be able to edit the position of the image on the player, adjusting elements such as: position, scale and rotation.

Important: In order for your changes to be saved, you must click 'Publish'.

After publishing the changes, the video will be available with the custom mute indicator. Note also, that the item remains creating a kind of library. Accessing any other video, you can configure the same indicator, just by clicking on it and publishing.

The library of custom items is shared across videos, which means changing one custom item will be reflected across all videos.
