How to use custom mute indicator?
How to change the mute indicator?
In this article, I will explain how you can customize your mute indicator. Based on feedback from several users, we have introduced the option of selecting the type of image - gif, png, or jpg - that you want to use to enhance the viewing experience for your audience. So, let's dive into the tutorial on how you can make these customizations.
Where can I configure?
You can find the new feature in the customization part of your individual video, next to the 'Smart Autoplay' section. Accessing this tab, you will notice two tabs: 'Standard' and 'Custom'.
In the 'Standard' tab, you will find the settings for the mute indicator as you had already shown: being able to define upper or lower text; adjust indicator with animation; color and size adjustments.
In the new tab, 'Custom', you will first have the possibility to import a GIF, PNG or JPG image to serve as a mute indicator.
Once an item is loaded, you will be able to edit the position of the image on the player, adjusting elements such as: position, scale and rotation.
Important: In order for your changes to be saved, you must click 'Publish'.
After you publish the changes, the video will be available with a customized mute indicator. It's important to note that this video will be stored in a library of items. If you access any other video in the library, you can easily configure the same indicator by clicking on it and publishing the changes.
The library of custom items is shared across videos, which means changing one custom item will be reflected across all videos.
