How to Find Your Google Ads Pixel ID
The Google Ads Pixel is an essential tool for tracking conversions, understanding your audience's behavior, and optimizing campaigns. By integrating this pixel into your website or Panda Video player, you'll have greater control over the data collected to improve your ad performance.
What is the Google Ads Pixel?
The Google Ads Pixel is a JavaScript code that, when added to your website or pages with embedded videos, allows you to track:
- Conversions across different devices;
- User browsing behavior;
- Location and demographic data;
- Most used devices;
- Effectiveness of your ads.
How to Create Your Google Ads Pixel ID
Follow the steps below to generate your ID:
- Log in to your Google Ads account.
- Click the tools icon in the upper right corner.
- Go to Shared Library and click Audience Manager.
- In the left menu, click Your data sources.
- Locate the "Google Ads Tag" card and click Set up tag.
- If you already have a tag, click Edit source (three-dot icon).
- Click Create and continue or Save and continue, depending on your case.
- Select the first option on the next screen.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page to see your Google Ads Pixel ID.
- Click Continue and then Done.
How to Add the Google Ads Pixel to Panda Video
You can set up your Google Ads Pixel globally (for all new videos) or manually for videos already uploaded.
Add Globally (All Future Videos)
- Copy your Google Ads Pixel ID.
- Go to the Panda Video Dashboard.
- Navigate to “Player” > “Pixels” > “Add Pixel”.
- Select GoogleAds, paste the ID in the field, and click "Publish".
Add Manually per Video
If the video was uploaded before the global configuration, follow these steps:
- Copy your Google Ads Pixel ID.
- Go to the Panda Video Dashboard.
- Navigate to the “Videos” tab.
- Choose the desired video and click "Pixel" > "Add Pixel".
- Select GoogleAds, paste the ID, and click "Publish".
