How does the Panda Extension works?

How the Panda Video Chrome Extension Works

The Panda Video extension for Google Chrome is a handy tool that simplifies the management and import of videos hosted on various platforms, such as Vimeo, Hotmart, SmartPlayer, Kiwify, and even sites with MP4 or MOV videos.

With this extension, you can identify and import videos directly from web pages into your Panda account in an organized and efficient way.

How to install the extension on Google Chrome

To get started, simply add the official Panda Video extension to your Chrome browser:

šŸ‘‰ Click here to install the extension from the Chrome Web Store

After installing, log in to your Panda Video account directly through the extension.

You’ll have access to your video library, clearly and neatly organized.

How to detect and import videos using the extension

The extension automatically detects videos on pages. Here's how it works for each platform:

🟣 Vimeo

Just access your library. Videos will be listed automatically and can be imported right away.

🟠 Hotmart, SmartPlayer, and Kiwify

  1. Open each lesson on the platform;
  2. Click the upload video button;
  3. After listing all videos, click "Import" and choose the target folder in Panda.

For Hotmart and Kiwify, you must view each lesson within the members area.

šŸ“ MP4 or MOV videos

The extension can also detect videos in these formats, depending on the page’s structure.

If you’re unsure, contact our support team to check the site’s compatibility.

Tracking your import history

Once an import starts, the system processes two videos at a time. Don’t close the browser or log out from the extension during this time.

In the History tab, you can:

  • View the import status (completed, in progress, or queued);
  • Cancel videos in the queue;
  • Prioritize a specific video.

Importing videos via CSV file

You can also bulk import videos using a CSV file with URLs. Follow these steps:

  1. Generate a CSV file with the URLs (you can request it from Vimeo or another platform);
  2. Open the Panda extension;
  3. Go to the CSV tab and click "Send file";
  4. Select the file;
  5. Map the columns to Panda’s fields.

This mapping ensures each video is imported correctly and stays well-organized.

Troubleshooting

If something isn’t working as expected:

  1. Click "Resync" in the profile icon at the bottom-right of the extension.
