Account Security
The Account Security section brings together the main protection settings for your videos and account in one place.
Through it, you can see which security features are active, identify protections that can still be configured, and quickly access the settings for each feature.
In addition, Account Security displays your account's security level, helping you understand which protection measures are already being used and which ones can still be enabled.
How to access Account Security
To access it:
- Log in to the Panda Video dashboard;
- In the sidebar menu, click Security;
- Open the Account Security tab.
When you access the page, you will find an overview of the protections available for your videos and account.
Available protections
In the Video Protection section, you can monitor and manage the features used to protect your content.
The available protections include:
Domain Control
Allows you to control where your videos can be played through allowed or blocked domains.
You can define which domains are authorized to play your videos or create a blocklist to prevent playback on specific domains.
When creating a rule, you can also choose where it will be applied: to all videos in the account or only to videos within specific folders. This allows you to define different access rules according to how your content is organized.
Anti-Download
Adds an additional layer of protection against unauthorized video download attempts.
Depending on the configuration used, the protection may include different security levels.
DRM Watermark
Allows you to add a custom watermark to your videos and use additional protection mechanisms against unauthorized copying and redistribution.
In the Account Protection section, you can also monitor features related to access security within your organization.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Adds a second authentication step to the login process, increasing the protection of user accounts within the organization.
Protection statuses
Each feature displayed in Account Security has a status indicator.
You may see the following statuses:
Enabled: indicates that the protection is enabled and currently in use.
Disabled: indicates that the feature is not currently enabled.
These indicators allow you to quickly identify which security layers are already configured in your account.
Security Levels
On the right side of the screen, you will find the Security Levels panel, which provides an overview of the protections available in your account, organized by security level: Basic, Regular, and Advanced.
Each protection has an indicator that allows you to quickly identify whether it is enabled or disabled.
As you enable different features, the panel is updated to reflect the protections that are already in use.
The levels help you identify which features can be configured to add new layers of security to your videos and account.
The checklist also allows you to see which measures are already in use and which ones can still be configured to increase security.
The levels displayed serve as a reference for the protections configured in Panda Video and do not represent an absolute guarantee against unauthorized access, downloads, or sharing.
Expanding the settings for each protection
The cards in Account Security can be expanded to display more information or used to directly access the settings for each feature.
To expand a card, click the arrow on the right side. Once expanded, you will be able to view more details about the protections and settings that are currently active.
To make navigation easier, only one card remains expanded at a time. When you expand another feature, the previously opened card will automatically collapse.
To access the complete settings for a protection, click the feature name. You will be redirected to the specific page for that feature, where you can view and change its settings.
Security Tabs
In addition to the overview provided by Account Security, the Security page includes dedicated tabs for the different protections available.
Through these tabs, you can access more detailed settings for features such as:
- Domain Control;
- Anti-Download;
- DRM Watermark.
Account Security serves as the starting point for monitoring your overall protection level, while the individual pages allow you to configure each feature separately.
