# Video Replacement

# Video Replacement

The **video replacement** feature allows you to swap an existing video without changing the original link or embed code. This simplifies content corrections, updates, and management without needing to modify any external configurations.

## How to Replace a Video

1. [Log in to your Panda Video dashboard](https://dashboard.pandavideo.com.br/#/)
2. Open the **video you want to replace**
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page
4. Click **“Replace Video”** below the player, on the left-hand side

## Benefits of Video Replacement

You don’t need to replace the video link or update the embed code wherever it's published.

Your videos will continue with the metrics history in Analytics.

## Additional Features: Regenerate, Keep, or Remove

When replacing a video that contains extra features, you’ll be prompted to choose what to do with them:

||| **Included Features:** Subtitles, Dubbing, AI Package, Button, Mini-Trigger, Chapters, and Pause Thumbnails

### 🔁 Regenerate
* Features will be generated again based on the new video  
* Panda Video’s AI will be used  
* **Credits required**

**Current Costs:**
* **Subtitles:** 5 minutes = 1 credit  
* **Default AI Dubbing: **1 minute = 2 credits
* **AI Dubbing with LipSync: **1 minute = 10 credits
* **AI Package:** 1 minute = 1 credit

||| If the video already has AI Dubbing (unless it is the same video) we recommend choosing the option to generate it again for a better adaptation.

### ✅ Keep Existing Features
* Keeps all existing settings  
* If the new video is shorter, elements beyond its duration may be deleted

### 🗑️ Remove Features
* All extra features will be deleted

## Important

||| During the replacement process, the **original video remains visible** until the new one finishes processing. As soon as the new video is ready, it **automatically replaces the old one**.

This feature transforms how you update your videos, offering speed and efficiency without disrupting your publishing flow.
