# Understand the functionality to enable/disable domain verification works

# Understand the Domain Verification feature

**Domain verification** ensures your videos are only played on authorized pages. When enabled, the player checks if the domain where the video is embedded is allowed. If not, the video will not play.

However, this feature relies on the *referer* policy, which only works on web-hosted content (it does not function in apps or software). That’s why you can easily enable or disable this verification.

## How to disable domain verification?

Follow the steps below to disable domain verification:

1. Access your **Panda Video Dashboard**.  
2. Click on the **Security** tab.  
3. Go to the **Allowed Domains** section.  
4. Disable the option **"Only allow selected domains"**.  
5. A pop-up will appear explaining the functionality and asking for your **password to confirm** the change.
