Panda AI: Video Search

How Panda’s AI Video Search Works

Finding the exact information inside a video doesn’t have to be complicated.

With Panda Video’s Video Search feature, your viewers can instantly locate the most relevant section, boosting engagement and making content consumption more efficient.

Video Search is an AI-powered feature that lets users search for spoken words and caption content within a video.

When a user types in a keyword, they’re taken directly to the moment that topic is mentioned in the video.

What Are the Benefits?

  • Time-saving: Quickly access the desired content without watching the whole video.
  • Increased accessibility: Helps all types of users find specific information easily.
  • Higher engagement: Viewers explore more and stay engaged for longer.

How Does It Work?

Panda’s AI transcribes the video audio into text and indexes all spoken words. That text becomes fully searchable by the user.

When someone types a word into the search bar, the system finds the moments where it was spoken and provides direct links to those segments in the video.

Follow these steps to enable the feature:

  1. Go to the Videos menu and click on the video you want.
  2. Open the Subtitles tab.
  3. Enable the option “Search Within Video”.

Important: to use this feature, you must generate and activate Automatic Subtitles. Without subtitles, this feature won’t work.

Why Use This Feature?

If you create educational content, training videos, webinars, or long-form videos, Video Search helps your audience find the most relevant information — increasing the perceived value of your content.
