# How to Enable the "Start in Fullscreen" Feature

The **Start in Fullscreen** feature allows a video to automatically play in fullscreen mode as soon as the user hits play, providing a more immersive viewing experience.

## Where to Enable This Feature

To enable **Start in Fullscreen**, follow these steps:

1. Access your Panda dashboard and select the desired video.  
2. After configuring the video, **before copying the embed code**, locate the **"Start in Fullscreen"** option.  
3. Enable it so the video will automatically play in fullscreen mode.

| This feature is available for both recorded videos and live streams, and can be enabled in just a few clicks.

## Does This Feature Work on All Platforms?

Not necessarily. Compatibility depends on the platform where the video is embedded, as not all of them allow JavaScript scripts directly in the code.

||| We do not recommend using this feature on membership platforms, due to possible compatibility limitations.  

That said, Panda provides several **ready-to-use embed codes** for different platforms. If your platform is not fully compatible, we recommend testing it first.

## Which Devices Are Compatible?

This feature works on both **desktop and mobile devices**, but behavior may vary:

* **Native opening (mobile)**: the player opens in fullscreen but loses some visual elements, such as the progress bar. In this case, **no additional code is required**.

* **Full opening (100%)**: the player opens in fullscreen with **all features enabled**, but **requires JavaScript code to be inserted along with the embed code**.
