How to Enable Thumbnails at the Start, Pause, and End of a Video

Thumbnails are images shown at key moments in the video, such as before it starts, when it’s paused, or after it ends. They help reinforce your visual identity, enhance the user experience, and even boost conversions.

Here’s how to configure each one.

How to Enable Thumbnails

  1. Access your dashboard and click on the Videos tab.
  2. Select the desired video with a single click.
  3. In the right-hand menu, click on Thumbnails.

  1. Choose which thumbnail to configure: Start, Pause, or End.

📌 Start Thumbnail

The start image is displayed before the video plays for the first time.

  • Supported formats: PNG, JPG, or GIF
  • Maximum file size: 5MB

You can upload multiple images and choose the active one by clicking on it.

⏸️ Pause Thumbnail

The pause image appears whenever the video is paused.

  • You can define the period of the video during which the thumbnail will be displayed.
  • It’s also possible to enable:
  • ✅ Show throughout the entire video
  • ✅ Show until the end of the video

Additionally, you can add a CTA button (call to action) on the pause thumbnail to boost conversions.

🛑 End Thumbnail

The end image appears right after the video finishes.

  • Ideal to reinforce your brand or direct viewers to other content.
  • Just select and publish.

✔️ Publishing Your Changes

After configuring the images, click “Publish” to save your changes.
